OSHKOSH, Wis–The Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office finds that a fatal officer-involved shooting in Oshkosh was justified. The officer shot and killed Delveon Fairman after the suspect allegedly ran toward officers with a knife inside a home along West 10th Avenue back on December 10th.
Fairman had allegedly stabbed two women in the home before officers arrived.
The DA’s office found that the officer’s actions were meant to save the lives of the victims and other officers. The officer’s name is being withheld due to threats made against those involved in the incident.
