MENASHA, Wis. — A police incident causes a brief lockdown at three Menasha schools.
Officers were called to a residence in the 600 block of 9th Street in the 1 p.m. hour Tuesday on the report of a man with a gun threatening to harm himself.
Maplewood Middle School along with Gegan and Clovis elementaries were placed in a “secure” status during that time as a precaution.
The man was taken into custody without incident at 2 p.m. and transported to the hospital for treatment.
