TOWN OF HUBBARD, Wis. — Nine people are hurt in separate weekend crashes in Dodge County.
In the first incident, an SUV reportedly pulled out in front of a pickup truck at the intersection of State Highway 33 and Highway TW in the town of Hubbard around 11:20 a.m. Sunday.
The 46-year-old Sussex man riding in the SUV was taken to an Oconomowoc hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 33-year-old Sussex woman driving that vehicle along with three Plymouth residents riding in the truck — a 68-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy — were taken to a Beaver Dam hospital with minor injuries.
Then shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday, an SUV reportedly pulled out in front of a Dodge pickup truck at the intersection of highways TW and S in Hubbard. The truck then crashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck.
The 86-year-old Iron Ridge woman and 60-year-old Lebanon man riding in the Dodge were taken to a Hartford hospital with serious injuries. The 67-year-old Iron Ridge man driving that vehicle and the 81-year-old Hillsboro man operating the SUV were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
