APPLETON, Wis. — The city of Appleton is looking to put more restrictions on drinking in its parks.
The parks committee approves a new rule that would ban the consumption of alcohol within 20 feet of a playground or a pavilion.
Parks director Dean Gazza says behavior in the park is making families uncomfortable………..
Gazza adds those renting pavilions for events will be exempt………..
The Appleton Common Council will vote on the new park drinking rules next week.
