NEENAH, WI — Officials of Neenah Foundry are sharing thoughts about a fire that damaged the facility on Aylward Street Thursday evening.
In a statement the company says:
“At approximately 8:10 PM on May 29, 2025, a fire occurred at Neenah Foundry Company’s facility located at 2051 Aylward Street in Neenah. Emergency services responded promptly, and the fire was extinguished within 3 hours.
We are relieved to report that there were no injuries to employees or first responders. The safety of our employees and the community is our highest priority. The building was evacuated immediately in accordance with our emergency procedures, and all personnel were accounted for.
An investigation is currently underway in coordination with local fire authorities to determine the cause of the incident. We are also assessing the extent of the damage and working with relevant agencies and insurers to support recovery efforts.”
NEENAH, Wis. — No one is hurt following a fire at Neenah Foundry.
The fire reportedly broke out at the Foundry’s Plant No. 2 around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
All employees were able to evacuate safely.
Fire officials say the blaze started in a sand bin.
The extent of the damage is unknown.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
