DE PERE, Wis. — A lightning strike draws emergency crews to a De Pere apartment complex.
First responders were called to the Rockland Park Apartments around 7 p.m. Sunday when witnesses reported a loud boom and what smelled like an electrical fire.
WPS crews were called-in to turn off electrical power to the complex.
A hole was found in the roof where the lightning bolt struck.
None of the residents home during the storm were injured.
All 24 residents at Rockland Park Apartments have been displaced while the building’s owners bring in an electrician to assess the damages.
