Kathy Keene’s Crockpot Beef Roulades
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2-lb. beef round steak, 1/2 inch thick
- 4 slices bacon
- 3/4 cup diced celery
- 3/4 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1 (10-oz.) can beef gravy
Directions: Cut steak into 4 serving pieces. Place bacon slice on each piece of meat. Mix celery, onion and green pepper; place about 1/2 cup mixture on each piece of meat. Roll up meat; secure ends with toothpicks. Wipe beef rolls with paper towel. Place in crockpot. Pour gravy evenly over steaks to thoroughly moisten. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours. Skim off fat before serving. Makes 4 servings.
