This is a tough story. There is no cure for ALS–also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.  The Weber family lost their father in 1999 to ALS.  Then, numerous children found out that they had the ALS genetic marker that would doom to that same fate.  Cathy talks about her battle with ALS and advancements that give future generations hope.
