APPLETON, Wis. — An Appleton man accused of opening fire on people in Erb Park reaches a plea deal with prosecutors.
Tyrese Simmons is convicted in Outagamie County Court on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Simmons fired shots at a group of people in the park in June of 2024. No one was hurt.
He faces up to 20 years in prison when sentenced on Oct. 27.
