OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Oshkosh Parks Department is looking to replace the train in Menominee Park.
Director Ray Maurer says a wheeled train would replace the unit currently using narrow tracks through the park………….
Maurer expects the new train to cost $100,000, with most of that coming from community donations………..
Last year, the city planned to discontinue operating the Menominee Park train due to repair costs, but public outcry led the Common Council to approve additional funding for this summer.
