TOWN OF ASHFORD, Wis. — Two teenagers are hurt — one seriously — in a Fond du Lac County crash.
The sheriff’s office says a pickup truck struck a farm tractor pulling a corn chopper along Highway W in the town of Ashford around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The 16-year-old Eden boy driving the truck was taken to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee where his condition is unknown. The 16-year-old Eden boy riding with him was taken to a Fond du Lac hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The 64-year-old Campbellsport man operating the tractor was not hurt.
Investigators believe inadequate lighting on the tractor and chopper was a factor in the crash.
