JUNEAU, Wis. — Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in a series of pursuits Thursday that end in the arrest of a De Pere teen.
The first pursuit began around 1:43 p.m. in Winnebago County by a Wisconsin State trooper before Fond du Lac County sheriff’s deputies then picked up the chase north of the Dodge County line until they lost sight of the vehicle.
The suspect vehicle was then sighted near Juneau and into Beaver Dam where a police officer began pursuing the vehicle until losing sight of the car and ending his pursuit.
A Dodge County sheriff’s detective laid down stop sticks which the driver avoided, nearly hitting the detective.
The fleeing car was then sighted in Reeseville, where the occupants got out and took another vehicle. Dodge County sheriff’s deputies were able stop the second vehicle and take the occupants into custody.
The driver, 19-year-old Isabella Bomske of De Pere, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and criminal operating without a valid drivers license. Other charges are expected.
