ONEIDA, Wis. — Three members of an Oneida family are accused of starving and neglecting a 14-year-old girl. Walter Goodman, Savanna LeFever and Kayla Stemler are facing counts of chronic neglect of a child with a consequence of great bodily harm.
According to the criminal complaint, Goodman, LeFever and Stemler lived in the home with the teen, who is Goodman’s daughter.
After a 911 call about the girl’s condition in August, first responders found the child weighed just 35 pounds and was bedridden.
All three suspects face up to 100 years in prison if convicted.
