LOMIRA, Wis. — A teenager is seriously injured in a Lomira apartment fire.
The 16-year-old boy was reportedly using a lighter to melt plastic keys to a keyboard to repair it when a nearby bottle of isopropyl alcohol ignited shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday.
He was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee for treatment of non-life-threatening burn injuries.
No one else was hurt.
Damage inside the apartment was minimal.
