APPLETON, Wis. — Appleton police issue a warning about the use of motorized dirt bikes in the city.
The department says there has been an increase in reports of people riding the bikes recklessly through neighborhoods, business districts and busy intersections.
Officers have stopped and impounded three motorized dirt bikes connected to ongoing nuisance and fleeing incidents since Monday night.
Anyone who witnesses reckless behavior involving those bikes should contact Appleton police.
