APPLETON, Wis. — One person is injured and an Appleton home sustains heavy damage following a house fire.
The Appleton Fire Department was called to the home on Welcome Circle around 8:15 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, crews found a duplex with flames coming from an attached garage. The blaze was under control within 10 minutes.
One person suffered injuries while evacuating the home but did not require hospitalization.
Damage is estimated at $100,000, and the investigation into that fire continues.
