APPLETON, Wis–Fox Cities business owners are generally optimistic about 2026. The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce annual Economic Outlook Survey finds 55% of respondents expect gross sales and revenues to increase this year. Forty-nine percent expect profits to increase as well–with 40% expecting net income to remain flat.
The biggest challenges for local employers is finding enough talent to fill open positions, and the cost of doing business.
