APPLETON, Wis–Organizers of an anti-Trump protest and march in downtown Appleton will not get their wish to have no police involved. The group ESTHER requested no law enforcement presence along College Avenue on March 28th for the No Kings protest.
Chief Polly Olson says that is not an option…………….
ESTHER missed the 45-day deadline to apply for a special event permit for their protest, but the city’s Safety and Licensing Committee approved their application, contingent upon the group providing a traffic safety plan by next Wednesday’s Common Council meeting.
