APPLETON, Wis. — The state Department of Transportation provides an update on the Interstate 41 expansion project between Grand Chute and De Pere.
Project manager Bryan Learst says the majority of work in 2026 will be in the Fox Cities………
As for the reconstruction of the Highway 47 interchange, Learst says it will be similar to that of the Highway 15 and Ballard Road interchanges……….
Crews will also resume work on the Highway U interchange near Wrightstown, the State Patrol regional headquarters in that area and the new Southbridge Road interchange near De Pere this year.
The entire project is scheduled to be finished by the end of 2029.
