FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A Menasha man will spend seven years in prison for setting fire to the offices of Congressman Glenn Grothman in Fond du Lac.
Caiden Stachowicz is also sentenced in Fond du Lac County Court to seven years on extended supervision for arson.
Stachowicz set fire to Grothman’s district office in January of 2025 because he was upset the Republican voted in favor of a bill to ban the social media app TikTok in the U.S. until the Chinese owners sold it.
President Donald Trump would later block enforcement of that law.
