(OSHKOSH, WI) — The Oshkosh Police Department is referring four adults for charges of Disorderly Conduct, Physical Abuse of a Child and one count of a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. That’s in connection with a disturbance at Pollock Pool Saturday afternoon. Two juveniles are also being referred for Disorderly Conduct.
Oshkosh Police were initially called to Pollock Pool just after 4:03 PM for a fight between the adults and the juveniles after a dispute over a pool basketball game.
Officers then responded to a disturbance with a weapons call around 5:55 PM at a residence near E. Melvin Avenue and N. Main Street. That was a continuation of the dispute at Pollock Pool. A gunshot was heard during the disturbance outside the residence. Police say once the gunshot took place a handgun was given to another person and later recovered by officers. Nobody was injured by the gunshot.
A 20-year-old Oshkosh woman was arrested and jailed onĀ charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
Oshkosh Police continue investigating the incident.
