OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh police are investigating a large fight near the UW-Oshkosh campus.
Officers were called to a residence in the 800 block of John Avenue around 10:25 p.m. Thursday on the report of a fight involving nearly a dozen people.
It was also reported that a gunshot was heard, but officers later discovered that a firework was set off.
No one was hurt.
While no arrests have been made, police say there is no threat to the community.
