(MENASHA, WI) — It could be sometime before electrical service is restored to all homes and businesses in Menasha. Menasha Utilities General Manager Melanie Krause says they are bringing in outside help for the effort.
Menasha Utilities faces a major challenge in restoring electricity to the hardest-hit areas of the city.
Krause says the vast majority of their lines need repair.
Krause adds that their focus right now is to restore the main transmission line that runs in the area of Jefferson Park and Racine Street. Police are keeping people away from those sites.
It will likely be several days before service is restored to all of Menasha.
