MENASHA, Wis. — Menasha Police are urging drivers to keep city roads clear.
Officials share it’s especially important in the areas between Racine Street and Jefferson Park, south of Third Street, where heavy traffic is delaying emergency and recovery operations.
The following is encouraged for anyone traveling to the area,
- Carpool when helping family or friends
- Limit the number of vehicles entering the area
- Keep trailers, wood chippers, skid steers, and other equipment out of the roadway
- Do not block intersections, driveways, fire hydrants, or travel lanes
- Do not enter the area just to view storm damage
- Do not self-deploy as a volunteer
Emergency vehicles, utility crews, and debris-removal teams must be able to get through.A Volunteer Resource Center and donation site has been set up at the former UW Fox campus.
