MENASHA, Wis–Students at the tornado-damaged Gegan Elementary School in Menasha will be split between two other schools this fall. Students living east of State Highway 47, or Appleton Road, will attend Clovis Grove Elementary. Those living west of 47 will go to Butte des Morts Elementary.
Menasha Superintendent Dan Slowey says they considered using other buildings and former schools, but felt using existing district schools will best serve students. There is no word on when Gegan Elementary might be ready to hold classes again.
