KAUKAUNA, Wis–A Kaukauna school teacher is accused of engaging in sexually explicit text messages with a minor. Ty Maki was arrested by Kaukauna Police on Monday.
According to investigators, Maki was communication with what he thought was a child under the age of 16 via a chatting app. He is a 5th grade teacher at River View Middle School. There is no evidence any children in Kaukauna were involved.
The Kaukauna Area School District has issued a statement saying Maki has been placed on administrative leave.
