APPLETON, Wis–Appleton Police are warning of a rash of car thefts and break-ins this summer. Officers have investigated 28-thefts from vehicles, 15-vehicles being rummaged through, and 11-cars being stolen, all in neighborhoods on the north side of the city.
Similar incidents have been reported in surrounding communities as well this summer. Police are reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked, to not keep their keys in their cars, and to remove all valuables from vehicles.
