GREEN BAY, Wis. — A traffic crash results in a house fire in Green Bay.
A vehicle struck a power pole along the 1800 block of Shawano Avenue around 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, causing the pole and the power line to fall on the house.
The driver of the vehicle was trapped under the live power line, while smoke was coming from the building. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Damage to the house is estimated at $5,000.
