APPLETON, Wis–The Trump administration cancels $1.5-million in funding earmarked for improvements to Appleton International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration had previously approved the money for energy efficiency projects at ATW, including the installation of a solar power array and a micro-grid system with battery storage.
According to a statement from the White House, the grant was rescinded because the project “does not meet agency priorities”.
