The COVID-19 Community Response Fund was established one year ago by the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and United Way Fox Cities. Since then, it’s impacted 106 local nonprofit organizations with a total of $1.6 million in grants. Tammy Geenen, Vice President Community Engagement with the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region joins us to share more about the impacts of the fund. We’re also joined by Sheng Lee Yang, Founder and Executive Director of Us 2 Behavioral Health Care. Us 2 was awarded a $15,000 grant to help continue providing therapy to Fox Cities area residents using a culture-first approach to trauma-informed care.
After 38 years with Fox Valley Technical College, and 13 of them as president, Dr. Susan May has announced her retirement. We are getting a few moments of Dr. May’s time today, to hear more about what went into this decision and find out what’s next.
