A Fox Crossing man is now charged in connection with the stabbing death of his live-in girlfriend. 26-year-old Phillip Dellar is now in custody on charge of First Degree Intentional homicide. Fox Crossing Police officers were called to a Valley Road apartment Sunday evening for a 9-1-1 hang-up call. That apartment was shared by Dellar and 30-year-old Leianna Mule. As police were en route, they were informed that a caller said someone had broken into the couple’s apartment and stabbed Mule to death. Dellar met police when they arrived and was treated at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Appleton for injuries he said were caused by a struggle with another man who broke into their residence and stabbed Mule. After an extensive investigation, Fox Crossing Police took Dellar into custody today. The investigation into that case continues.
