Organizers of the U-S Venture open are hoping to match last year’s fundraising total of $4.6 million dollars.
Greg Vandenberg of the U.S. Venture Foundation says the online auction is open now.
Because of the rise in COVID-19 cases in the region the dinner and reception planned at Van Abel’s of Hollandtown has been canceled. Special guest Charlize Theron will not be there either.
The golf event raises money to help fight poverty in the region. It will be held Wednesday, August 11.
