A boy is seriously injured in a boating accident on Lake Winnebago.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says the 11-year old was tubing just after 12 p.m. Sunday when he tried to climb onto the back of the boat and fell into the propeller. He suffered severe injuries to his legs and was flown from the Columbia Park boat launch to a hospital.
A 30-year old New Holstein man, the boy’s uncle, was operating the boat. There were four other children on the craft at the time.
