A lawmaker from De Pere has COVID-19.
Senator Andre Jacque received hospital care for pneumonia. He isn’t sure when he contracted the virus, but tested positive after returning home from Madison. Jacque says some of his family also tested positive.
According to Jacque, he was largely asymptomatic with the exception of fatigue, but he blamed that on having a new baby in the house. Jacque personally reached out to his close contacts from last week. He says his office is following all protocols.
