Power is restored to about 1,100 customers in Grand Chute.
Lights went out around 5:30 a.m. Spokesman Brendan Conway says a bird that came in contact with some wires caused the outage. He says that’s fairly common. Wildlife is responsible for about 11 percent of all outages on average.
Power was restored in a little less than two hours. Conway says that’s typically their goal time.
