The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office releases more information on human remains found in High Cliff State Park. Investigators believe the remains are those of an older man–and that they had been in the park for some time. Detectives have also heard from the hikers that came across the remains in the upper section of the park Wednesday evening and informed park rangers–but who left before police arrived. The remains are not believed to be associated with Native American burial sites. The upper portion of High Cliff will remain closed to the public until Friday afternoon.
