Students at an Appleton charter school walk out of their classes in protest of an incident involving a staff member. About 40-kids left Kaleidoscope Academy Monday morning after the Appleton School District and Appleton Police cleared the staff member of any wrong-doing. A statement posted on Twitter by the Police Department says it was called in by the district to investigate accusations of misconduct at an after-school event Friday night at Kaleidoscope. An email sent to parents by the district Monday afternoon says video footage of the incident was reviewed and the matter was discussed with the family that filed the complaint.
