ASHWAUBENON, Wis–An Ashwaubenon Army Reserve unit is heading to Eastern Europe. The 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion is being activated and sent to Poland within the next two months.
The soldiers will serve as part of Operation European Assure, Deter, and Reinforce, which started shortly before the Russian invasion of Ukraine last year. The length of the deployment is not known.
