MENASHA, Wis–The next mayor of Menasha will be getting a substantial pay raise. The Common Council approves a 14% increase to $80,000 for the first year of the new term.

The council vote ended in a four-all tie, allowing Mayor Don Merkes to cast the tie-breaking vote in favor of the pay raise………..
The measure includes an annual 2.5% increase in the Menasha mayoral salary each year through 2027, reaching more than $86,000.
