OSHKOSH, Wis–The trial of an Oshkosh man accused of fleeing the scene of a boat crash on the Fox River will remain in Winnebago County. A judge rejects a motion for a change of venue from Jason Lindemann.
Lindemann is accused of crashing into the On the Loos Cruise paddle-wheeler on the Fox back in July of last year before fleeing the scene. His attorney tried to argue that pre-trial publicity would make it difficult to find an impartial jury in the area.
The judge also rejected a motion to supress eyewitness statements provided to investigators as evidence at the trial.
