GREEN BAY, Wis. — Wequiock Elementary School in Green Bay will close at the end of the current school year.
The Green Bay Area Public Schools Board of Education votes unanimously Monday to close the school on July 24, 2024. Wequiock students will then be transferred to Red Smith Elementary School.
The closure is part of the downsizing plan to reduce costs amid declining enrollments.
