MADISON, Wis–Planned Parenthood says it will resume abortion services at two clinics in Wisconsin. A release from the group says they will again perform abortions in Milwaukee and Madison starting on Monday.
When the Supreme Court overturned the landmark Roe v Wade ruling last year, a law dating back to 1849 which bans all abortions went back into effect. The state Department of Justice filed a lawsuit in Dane County challenging the enforceability of that law, and a judge recently issued a ruling the law does not apply to abortions at all.
