MENASHA, Wis–The Barlow Planetarium in Menasha is scaling back its holiday shows. The Planetarium lost its star projector over the weekend to mechanical issues.
Officials say the unit is 25 years old, and that replacement parts are hard to find. “Tis the Season” shows, which featured the star projector, will be replaced with additional showings of the “Laser Holidays” shows.
The planetarium is accepting donations to replace the star projector with a more-updated model.
