WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis. — Another human case of West Nile Virus is reported in Northeast Wisconsin.
The latest involves a person in Winnebago County. Cases had previously been reported in Outagamie, Brown, Fond du Lac and Dodge counties.
West Nile is spread through mosquito bites and can be fatal if not treated in a timely manner.
At least two people have died in Wisconsin this year.
