GREEN BAY, Wis. — Criminal charges are filed in connection with a fatal shooting along State Highway 172 in Ashwaubenon.
Ji-Gwe-Mko Layton of Nekoosa is facing one count of first-degree intentional homicide in Brown County Court.
Layton is accused of shooting a 60-year-old Wood County man to death in a vehicle traveling along 172 on Aug. 15, resulting in a crash.
Layton was arrested after running away from the vehicle armed with a rifle.
He faces life in prison if convicted.
