OSHKOSH, Wis–An Oshkosh man is accused of abusing his dog. The 39-year old was reportedly captured on video kicking his female pitbull in the head repeatedly at a residence in the 600-block of Frederick Street on Tuesday night.
The man was not at the residence when officers arrived. They received reports that the suspect had threatened witnesses as well. He was eventually arrested this (Thursday) morning in the area of Division Street.
The injured dog was taken to an animal hospital for treatment. Six other dogs were removed from the residence.
Criminal charges are pending.
