OSHKOSH, Wis. — Criminal charges are filed against an Oshkosh man accused of abusing his dog.
Travis Gant is facing counts of intimidation of a victim, bail jumping and intentionally mistreating an animal.
According to the criminal complaint, Gant repeatedly beat and kicked a dog named “Chanel” at a home along Frederick Street earlier this month. He also allegedly threatened a woman and a 13-year-old girl who videotaped the incidents.
Gant faces up to 26 years in prison if convicted.
