OSHKOSH, Wis. — A man reported missing in Oshkosh is found dead. Police say a body believed to be that of Frederick Ellis was found at about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday in a drainage area south of the on-ramp from southbound Interstate 41 to W. 9th Avenue.
Investigators say it appears Ellis had been dead some time. He had been reported missing on Jan. 10.
An autopsy will be conducted on Thursday.
