(OUTAGAMIE/WAUPCA COs, WI) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency inspects flood-damaged areas in Outagamie and Waupaca counties.
Crews toured communities along the Wolf River this week–documenting damage caused by severe flooding last month.
Public Affairs Specialist Kim Keblish says the inspections will determine whether there is enough damage to warrant a federal emergency declaration.
Scott Krug of Shiocton says he is unable to stay in the living portion of his home.
Once FEMA completes its inspections, the state will analyze the data to determine whether federal funding is needed.
The deadline to make that determination is May 23.
