DE PERE, Wis. — Just nine days after dropping out of the Wisconsin governor’s race, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley announces he’s back in.
That comes one day after Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez ended her gubernatorial bid Friday due to campaign finance issues.
During a campaign stop at Ledgeview Park in De Pere, Crowley told our TV partner Action 2 News that deciding to relaunch his campaign did not come easy………
Just after Crowley announced his return to the governor’s race, incumbent Gov. Tony Evers announced on Facebook he is now endorsing Crowley for the Democratic nomination. Evers saying in part that Crowley “has the experience to make tough decisions and has proven he can work together with others to get good things done.”
